Omega Lollipops

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup agave
  • 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

For Omega Lollipops:

Heat the agave over medium heat until bubbly. omega-lollipops

Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on medium-low for 3-4 minutes.

Pour into molds with sticks and set in freezer to set.

Cinnamon Apple Rings – raw

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup agave or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3-5 sweet apples

 

Directions

Core the apples, then using a mandoline, slice them all about 1/8 inch thick, or desired thickness. cinnamon apple rings

Place the rings in a bowl. Mix the agave and cinnamon together, then pour this over the apples. Use your hands to rub the cinnamon sauce over all the rings evenly.

Spread on Teflex sheets and dehydrate for 6-8 hours.

Green Pineapple Pops

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • water for blending

Directions

To make these Green Pineapple Pops:  Blend the ingredients until smooth and pour into ice pop molds.

Freeze for 4-6 hours.

*Note: I used paper cups and craftsticks for mine. To do that, simply place a slice of banana in the bottom of each cup and stick one end of the craft stick in the banana to hold in place.

Easy Raw Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 3 sweet apples, cored and cut into quarters
  • 4-5 pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, or to taste

Directions

This raw applesauce recipe is incredibly simple. Just add all ingredients into food processor and process until well mixed.

Mini Pecan Pie Recipe

This is the easiest ingredient list ever, it’s almost not even a recipe!

  • moist Medjool dates
  • pecans

Mini Pecan Pie RecipeFor this Mini Pecan Pie recipe, simply tear the date in half to open it up, pull out the pit inside and the flower if there is one on top of the date, then stuff the date with a pecan or two and devour!

The easiest sweet snack I can think of!

Pita Quesadillas with Cilantro Hummus

Ingredients

For the Hummus:

  • ¼ cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¾ cup cooked chickpeas (or ½ 15 oz can, rinsed and drained)
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

For the Quesadillas:

  • 2 7-inch whole wheat pitas split crosswise
  • 2 jarred roasted red bell peppers, drained and sliced into strips
  • ¾ cup baby spinach leaves

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. To make hummus: process cilantro and garlic in food processor until chopped. Add chickpeas, lime juice, oil, and 2 Tbsp water; puree 3 minutes, or until creamy.

To make quesadillas: place 2 pita halves on baking sheet. Spread each with ½ cup hummus. Top with peppers, spinach, and remaining pita halves. Bake 10 minutes or until crisp. Cut into triangles and serve.
